Quality of life

When I first came to the University of Glamorgan it is an interesting place and really good experience to my life and also it change my lifestyle completely. After completing 2-3 weeks in Glamorgan I fell little bit of stress. And I feel along. Because this is a new experience, i miss my old friends and old life style. Back in home I had lot of friends. Every day we were used to play cricket and enjoy ourselves. On the other hand in here I had only few friends. And I’m really felt sad. However, the university was good, because there were lot of students everywhere in the university. So I didn’t felt sad, also I had good friends in my classroom. Sometimes I felt little bit upset because this whole thing is new to me. I am not used to these kinds of factors. For an example back home my schools are different and Glamorgan University is completely different. The other factor is weather. In Srilanka weather is too hot. But in here weather is too cold. However, university life affects me to have a responsibility life and good behaviour. Because we must attend to classes at time, this is what I never done in back home and the home work, deadlines made me really comfortable.

Posh

According to Yahoo Education

'posh' means smart and fashionable. a popular theory holds that it is derived from initials of 'port out, starboard home'. the cooler and expensive side of the ships travelling England and India in mid 19th century. posh was supposedly stamp on the tickets of first-class passengers travelling in that side of ships owned by the peninsular and oriental steam navigation company.

Early 20th century: there is no evidence support like the flock etymology that posh is formed from the initials of port out starboard home referencing more confortable accommodation out of the heat of the sun, on ships between England and India.
