Welsh Assembly

The wales assembly debating center is situated in Cardiff bay.it is very beautiful.

On 3rd march 2011 people from across wales voted in the referendum on the law making powers of the national assembly for wales. majority of them voted  'yes' in the referendum.

Do you want the assembly now to be able to make laws on all matters in the 20 subject areas it has power for ?

• results

63.5%  of people voted yes.

36.5%  voted no

so now the wales assembly can make their own laws in wales without permission from London Parliament.
